Some of the criteria judges typically consider include:
Overall Appearance: Judges evaluate the general impression of the Alaskan Malamute, assessing factors such as size, proportion, and balance of the body.
Head and Expression: The unique features of an Alaskan Malamute's head, including their broad skull, well-defined stop, and triangular-shaped eyes, are closely examined. The expression should reflect the breed's friendly, alert, and affectionate nature.
Body Structure: Judges thoroughly analyze the Alaskan Malamute's body, focusing on aspects such as chest depth, ribcage, and muscular development. The breed should display strength, power, and agility.
